Maybelline Master Precise Liner

If I had to pick one thing that I needed the most practice with, makeup wise, it would be eyeliner. Whenever I attempter to get a perfect line it always comes out too thick or just plain bad! I do love the look of winged liner but frankly I suck at it. I had this idea that I would go buy some new eyeliner pens to get myself excited about all the practicing I was going to do.

I picked up the Maybelline Master Precise liner after seeing the ad for it. Maybelline states that this liner pen never skips and will give you a smooth even line with the ultra thin 0.4 mm point. It seemed like it would be the perfect eyeliner pen to help me master the cat eye look. Well I guess i was wrong!

The pen part of the liner is way too long for my taste. I don't know if its the fact that I'm not very good at it (yet) but I found liner too flimsy to get a smooth line. Even when I concentrated really hard about what I was doing the end of the pen would go wherever it wanted and made a big mess.

The one thing that I like about this liner is that its a true black liner. A lot of the liquid liners that I have tried seem too watery and take a few swipes to get a solid black line. So thumbs up to Maybelline for making a good black liner. Another thumbs up for the fast drying formula. While I was attempting to do a winged liner I sneezed and it didn't make a huge mess

All in all I think that this could be a really good liner but maybe for someone who has a little more practice under their belt. Once I'm a little better and my cat eye look I'm sure that I will give this liner another chance. It's hard to come by a good black liner!
